Branding, illustration, website design & development for Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Development Corporation, a nonprofit resource that creates equal opportunity for the people, businesses, and community of the Southwest Brooklyn industrial waterfront.

We knew it would be a challenge to work with such a long name. Since the organization is often referred to by its acronym, shortening the main logo when possible seemed like an obvious choice. Creating a system with different options also appeared to be a good plan. Therefore, we developed a monogram as well as horizontal and vertical formats for SBIDC to use in different situations.

We have rearchitected, redesigned, and developed the new SBIDC website, incorporating new features which include a searchable membership directory, member testimonials, and easily editable content management system.

Below, you can find a comparison of the membership directory page, demonstrating the improvements made in the before and after versions. This is just one example of how we enhanced the overall site. The new directory provides significantly more value through its enhanced features, including a filterable search option by name or industry. Additionally, it elegantly showcases each member company by prominently displaying their logo and contact information.
